Default Double Gold, Scrolls and XP for Vanquishing this weekend

wow..thats the best they could come up with to keep us interested this weekend? Do they not realize the new release that comes out this week?????

Lets try to do something alittle more energizing for this weekend.

Yeah, there's a title change this week. The weekend event gives a title bonus. Ever stop to think ANet may be changing the vanquisher title, and are giving bonuses for it this weekend as a way to promote vanquishing?

I was planning on vanquishing stuff for Kurzick faction anyway, so it's all gravy for me.

It'll be interesting to see what all the title changes will be. And if one change that people have been asking for happens, I'm going to be a VERY happy camper this weekend!

I assume this to be correct. We had AB weekend the week we were supposed to be getting K/L rebalance. Expect to see some sort of change to either Faction gain through Vanquish or the Vanquish mechanic itself. An unexpected, but fantastic change that would be. Vanquishing has crap rewards.

EDIT: Speculation -- "Word of your valiant deeds on behalf of the Kurzick/Luxon nation has reached House Zu Heltzer/Cavalon! You are granted XXXX Kurzick/Luxon faction!"

I, for one, am happy with pve weekends. Not that i pve at all, but it sure beats double champ weekends with bought guild fags all over.

Vanquishing isn't really my cup of tea. But least it should be a slightly interesting weekend with the new title changes.

Interesting, but how could they change it? I can't see much to improve it other than make some ai less stupid and erratic when it comes to AoE,but that would be within the hard mode mechanic itself and not exclusive.

Your comment alone Arky did enough to make me ponder what could have been different had I waited a week or so

Because there will be new scrolls that work like the XP ones... except they're for faction/rep points. Yeah well, I can dream :-P
